Description
In each semester, the course "Capstone Project Information Systems" is offered as part of the Bachelor's programme. The aim of this compulsory course is to enable student teams to carry out smaller software development projects. Independent management as well as independent work within the project teams is the top priority.
Cooperation with practice
Our practice partners act as "clients" and/or "coaches" during the course. They also provide the respective Case studies on which the individual development projects are based. On the one hand, this creates a realistic environment; on the other hand, students always solve real-world problems from practice. The implementation is based on an agile approach. Within five sprints (2 weeks each) the requirements are collected, the solution is implemented and, in the end, presented to the chair as well as to the practice partners during a product show.
