M.Sc. Business Analytics & Econometrics

On this page, we present the courses we offer in our Master study program "Business Analytics & Econometrics". If you study in another program, you may also be able to elect some of these courses, please refer to this page or your module catalogue for more information.

The Field of Study

Data analytics, digital innovation and big data are crucial developments for the upcoming challenges in all business and economic areas. This programme provides you with:

  • Fundamental analytics and technology skills
  • Groundbreaking knowledge and the mindset for a successful career in data analytics for business and economics
  • Vital skills for starting and managing a business in the digital age and resolving complex issues in today’s organisations
  • An ability to gather, manage and analyse (big) data as well as to visualise, present and use insights gained from the data

For information on the electives offered by other departments of our faculty, please check the module catalogue, KLIPS and their websites for details.

Studies Abroad Option

We encourage students to spend one term at a university abroad. The term abroad is usually the third term. In that case, you take your seminar (SM Seminar Data Analytics for Business or SM Seminar in Statistics and Econometrics). You skip the three specilization modules as well as Electives 1 and 2, instead you can get your courses from your foreign university accredited.
