Learning Objectives
On completion of this unit, students should be able to …
- define and critically apply sustainability as characteristic of activities (e.g., business processes or individual behaviors).
- distinguish and evaluate different sustainability metrics and measures.
- understand the difference between green information technology and green information systems.
- understand and apply different approaches to sustainable information systems development, use, and management.

Assessment
Written Individual Exam (100%) of 90 minutes length.
- First option: 18 February 2026, 16:00-17:30. Location: Room S56 (Philosophikum, building 103)
- KLIPS Registration Deadline: 04 February 2026, 11:59pm
- Second option: 27 March 2026, 15:00-16:30. Location: Room S91/S93 (Philosophikum, building 103)
