Dear Master Students,
The Institute and our partner BCG Platinion are proudly announcing the Information Systems Master Consortium 2021! After last year's success, we decided to let this become an annual event, which is taking place now the second time. Due to the pandemic, we will run it again in an online format on Mon, 22 November 2021. The event addresses master students in the second half of their study programme. We highly encourage all master students that are planning to start their thesis in the next year to participate in the event.
The goal of the one-day event is to strengthen the perception among master students of the many different thesis topics within the CIIS. You will be able to interact with the professors, academics, and experts from one of our partners from practice. The event will give you the opportunity to talk to supervisors of topics and to get an impression of what might follow after your graduation. Central element of the program is the pitching of proposed topics by the supervisors and pitching of candidate profiles by the students - organized as a Thesis Topic Slam and a Candidate Slam. During the Candidate Slam, you can present yourself, your skills, and expertise for topical areas and methods. This is an excellent opportunity to get in touch with academics and practitioners alike at a single event and to identify most suitable research topics for your upcoming thesis.
BCG Platinion, our partner from practice, has offered to facilitate the event. More information can be found in the attached Event Flyer.
You can pre-register by sending an email to Janek Richter until 01 November. Seats are limited - first come first serve!
