Dear students,

For the summer semester 2018 we kindly want to invite you to join our course “Selected Issues in Information Systems I/II “Digital Strategy & Transformation”.

The goal is the understanding, evaluation and development of digital strategies and corresponding transformation activities for organizations. Within the course, you learn

  1. What a digital strategy comprises of and how important digital strategies are for today’s organizations
  2. How digital strategies can be defined within organizations in alignment with current business operations, IT strategies, etc.
  3. How digital strategies can be implemented and digital transformation programs can be executed within organizations

Based on a general introduction of the topic within the first lecture (April 2018), you will jointly work on a detailed digital strategy and transformation case study, which includes theoretical as well as practical exercises (e.g. the development of AI prototypes for the case client). The course itself is 100% based on “case-based” learning and follows an agile approach with 5 two week sprints. Within each sprint, your group needs to work on one specific target deliverable based on their own, independent planning and execution approach.

For finishing the course, you will pitch your results in front of the case client.

The deadline for registration will be 21/03/2018. Please follow this link to register:
