Top Results in AIS Research Ranking

The University of Cologne and in particular the professors of the Cologne Institute for Information Systems have achieved excellent results in the ranking of the Association for Information Systems.

Im aktuellen Ranking der Association for Information Systems (AIS) belegt belegt die Universität zu Köln im weltweiten Vergleich den 41. Platz. Im Bereich “Europe, Africa, Middle East” landet die Universität sogar auf Rang 7 und im deutschlandweiten Vergleich auf dem 2. Platz.

In the current ranking of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), the University of Cologne ranks 41st in a worldwide comparison. In the "Europe, Africa, Middle East" category, the University even ranks 7th and 2nd in a Germany-wide comparison.

The professors of the CIIS Jan Recker (rank 77), Christoph Rosenkranz, and Wolfgang Ketter (both rank 188) also achieve top results in the worldwide author ranking.

The ranking is based on publications in the journals of the “AIS Senior Scholars’ Basket”, which includes eight top journals from the research field Information Systems, in the period 2014-2018.
